On November 24-25, 2023, the "Medical Device Industry High-quality Innovation and Development Conference and the Second Member Representative Meeting of the First Session of Shandong Medical Device Industry Association" hosted by Shandong Medical Device Industry Association and undertaken by the Management Committee of Rizhao High-tech Zone was held in Rizhao.Ren Shaoyan, member of the party group, deputy director and second-level inspector of Shandong Provincial Drug Administration, attended the meeting. The meeting deliberated and approved the addition of 8 new governing units.
The 2023 Shandong Medical Device Industry Association Science and Technology Award was presented at the meeting. A total of 11 first prizes and 15 second prizes were awarded. Among them, the project "Absorbable Polysaccharide Hemostasis Material" of Success Bio-Tech Co., Ltd. won the first prize of the Science and Technology Award of Shandong Medical Device Industry Association in 2023, and the company's projects "Chitosan Hemostatic Powder" and "Oral Ulcer Membrane" won the second prize of Science and Technology Award of Shandong Medical Device Industry Association in 2023.
The meeting invited Zheng Hairong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, to make a report on the "Innovation and Development Trend and Opportunities of High-end Medical Devices", and invited leading experts from the Medical Device Supervision and Administration Department of Shandong Provincial Drug Administration, the Pharmaceutical Price and Bidding and Procurement Department of Shandong Provincial Medical Insurance Bureau, and Qilu Hospital of Shandong University to explain the high-quality development of the medical device industry in the province, the relevant policies and measures for centralized procurement of medical devices, and how suppliers participate in government procurement.
In addition, the meeting also invited industry experts and representatives of leading enterprises such as Shandong Provincial Food and Drug Evaluation and Inspection Center, Shandong Medical Device and Drug Packaging Inspection and Research Institute, Shandong Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Weigao Group Co., Ltd. and other industry experts and leading enterprise representatives to give a lecture on medical device innovation policy, registration and declaration process, product registration data requirements and common problem analysis, GB 9706 standard main changes and inspection technology sharing, medical device biological evaluation strategy and case analysis based on risk management, frontier progress of medical polymer materials, Sharing of enterprise handling of adverse reactions of medical devices and production quality management practices for sterile medical devices.
This meeting provided a learning and communication platform for the innovation and development of the medical device industry in Shandong Province, promoted the exchange and cooperation of colleagues in the medical device industry, and effectively promoted the high-quality innovation and development of the medical device industry.
